This video, based on several hunts in Zimbabwe and South Africa, features hunter Mark Buchanan shooting mainly un-scoped big bore double rifles in pursuit of African Big Game.

In this hunting video, Mark shoots four of the big five: rhino, elephant, leopard and numerous buffalo. In addition, he hunts and takes wildebeest, several kudu including one that reaches the magical 60” mark, two eland and a nyala. All are taken at close range and for the most part, without the aid of a scope

The video is action packed with a full on elephant and buffalo charge, both ending with the animals at the hunter’s feet. This one is not for the faint of heart. The “big bore mentality”, as quoted from the video, provides graphic and occasionally bloody kill scenes all of which are caught on tape.

Overall, this hunting video is well worth the money in terms of hunting action, production quality, and it provides short histories and discussions of the lavish double rifles used.
